Cadio for Grasshopper
Describe parametric relationships in plain English. Cadio builds computational design workflows from your natural language intent.
What You Can Create
Visual Programming with Prompts
Describe the parametric logic you want and Cadio wires up the Grasshopper components—sliders, series, domains, and data trees.
Algorithmic Patterns
Generate Voronoi patterns, attractor fields, and paneling systems by describing the design intent.
Live Parametric Control
Ask Cadio to add sliders for key parameters so you can fine-tune the design interactively.
How It Works
Install Plugin
Download and install from Rhino's Package Manager
Open in Grasshopper
Launch the Cadio panel within Grasshopper
Describe Logic
Explain the parametric relationships you want
Generate Definition
Watch components appear and connect on the canvas
Features
Requirements

- Platform: macOS 12+ or Windows 10+
- Internet: Required for AI features
Example Commands
Create a definition that lofts between 5 curves with a slider for twist angleWires up curve inputs, loft, and a number slider for twist
Add a Voronoi component and connect it to the surface pointsPlaces Voronoi and wires point input from surface
Flatten this data tree and remove null itemsAdds flatten and clean tree components
Wire a graph mapper between the point grid and the Z valuesConnects Graph Mapper for parametric height mapping
